    Freddie Mac (FMCC) today released the results of its Primary Mortgage Market Survey® , showing that the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 2.84 percent. “Mortgage rates jumped this week as a result of positive news about a COVID-19 vaccine,” said Sam Khater, Freddie Mac’s Chief Economist.

    Freddie Mac  today released the results of its Primary Mortgage Market Survey®, showing that the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 2.81 percent. “The record low mortgage rate environment is providing tangible support to the economy at a critical time, as housing continues to propel growth,” said Sam Khater, Freddie Mac’s Chief Economist.

    Freddie Mac (FMCC) today released the results of its Primary Mortgage Market Survey, showing that the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 2.88 percent. “As a result of low mortgage rates that have stayed under three percent since July, the housing market has seen a strong, upward trajectory during a very uncertain time,” said Sam Khater, Freddie Mac’s Chief Economist.
