Stock futures turn lower as Trump says China deal could come after election

U.S. stock futures promptly turned lower Tuesday as President Trump introduced doubt, at a London press conference, that a trade deal with China was imminent. "In some ways I like the idea of waiting until after the election for the China deal," Trump said, according to a pool reporter's account. Stock futures dropped, with Dow industrials futures losing 118 points.
