Shell pauses some drilling in Gulf of Mexico, limiting movement offshore of non-essential personnel

HOUSTON, Oct 26 (Reuters) - Royal Dutch Shell Plc (RDS/A) paused some offshore drilling in the U.S.-regulated northern Gulf of Mexico and is limiting movement of non-essential personnel to offshore platforms because of Tropical Storm Zeta, the company said on Monday.

Earlier on Monday, the company said it was preparing to evacuate non-essential personnel form offshore platforms. (Reporting by Erwin Seba Editing by Chizu Nomiyama)
