Mr. Griffith was the CEO of Anglo American Platinum Ltd. between 2012 and 2020.
The South African gold miner said Mr. Holland has agreed to retire six months earlier to facilitate the transition. He has been the CEO of Gold Fields (GFI) for 13 years.
