Brazil Treasury officials Funchal and Bittencourt quit - ministry

BRASILIA, Oct 21 (Reuters) - Brazil Treasury officials Bruno Funchal and Jeferson Bittencourt have resigned on Thursday for personal reasons, the Economy Ministry said in a statement.

Their deputies Gildenora Dantas and Rafael Araujo also asked to quit, the statement said, adding that resignations were requested to "allow for a transition process and continuity of all commitments" in the Treasury and Budget office and the National Treasury office.
