MUMBAI, Nov 30 (Reuters) - STOCKS: The benchmark BSE Sensex rose 3.4 points, or 0.01%, to 62,685.24, while the broader NSE index gained 17.75 points, or 0.10%, to 18,635.8, as investors cautiously awaited the gross domestic product data and the U.S. Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell's speech due later in the day. RUPEE: The Indian rupee strengthened 0.1% versus the U.S. dollar, and quoted at 81.63 per dollar, tracking an uptick in Asian currencies ahead of Fed Chair Jerome Powell's speech. GOVERNMENT BONDS: Benchmark 10-year bond was quoted at 99.82 rupees, with yield up 1 bps at 7.2845% vs previous close of 7.2791%, as traders await growth data for cues on interest rates. OVERNIGHT INDEXED SWAPS: The one-year overnight indexed swap rate was up 2 bps at 6.69%, while the benchmark five-year swap rate rose 3 bps to 6.33%. CALL MONEY/REPOS: India's overnight call money rate was down 15 bps at 5.85% against 6.00% in the previous session. The overnight TREPS rate was at 5.70%, compared with the previous day's weighted average of 5.7284%. (Reporting by Dharamraj Dhutia)
