SNAPSHOT-India stocks, rupee, swaps, call at close

MUMBAI, Nov 30 (Reuters) - STOCKS: The benchmark BSE Sensex rose 417.81 points, or 0.67%, to 63,099.65, while the broader NSE index gained 154.55 points, or 0.83%, to 18,772.6, tracking gains in Asian markets.

RUPEE: The Indian rupee strengthened 0.36% versus the U.S. dollar, and quoted at 81.42 per dollar amid chatter of dollar inflows hitting the market, while Asian currencies extended their gains on growing hopes of China gradually reopening its economy. GOVERNMENT BONDS: Benchmark 10-year bond was quoted at 99.85 rupees, with yield little changed at 7.2798%; vs previous close of 7.2791%, tracking a recovery in oil prices and ahead of domestic economic growth data and comments from the U.S. Federal Reserve's chair OVERNIGHT INDEXED SWAPS: The one-year overnight indexed swap rate was down 2 bps at 6.65%, while the benchmark five-year swap rate stayed fixed to 6.30%. CALL MONEY/REPOS: India's overnight call money rate was down 20 bps at 5.80% against 6.00% in the previous session. The overnight TREPS rate was at 5.73%, compared with the previous day's weighted average of 5.7284%. (Reporting by Bhakti Tambe)
